Solved: Cisco WLC 5520 Periodically making huge fan sound

Hi,

We have installed 2 WLC's 5520 model active and standby, both's fan are making huge sound (I mean Exhausting) on periodically( once in half an hour or one hour).

We have gone through the commands >Show Imm chasis fan, Show Imm chasis current, Show Imm chasis Temp, all the status are Ok.

Is it the sound normal in this model ? Or any issues on that ?

Please give your commands.

5520 is based around a Cisco UCS chassis. Servers are not meant to be quiet and suppose to sound like a Hoover vacuum cleaner.

1: Log into CIMC

2: On the Server Tab click Power Policies

3: Change Fan Policies under the Configured Fan Policy Section to "Performance"

4: Click Save Changes

5: Server Will automatically Reboot and thats it.
