Solved: Disable call-waiting for SIP hpones

How do you disable the call-waiting tone heard in the earpiece for SIP phones? using 7841 phones CME10.5. I would like a visual indicator, but not an audio in the earpiece. SCCP phones use the "no call-waiting beep". Is there a SIP equivalent?

Hello,

This command only can be added to SCCP phone "No call-wating beep"and is not available for sip phones .

Does CME 11.0 support this feature?

checked in my lab CME 11 don't find this command too

Looks like this still isn't supported in CME version 11.7.

We have had many requests from clients to disable the beep/alert tone of this feature.

If you disable the feature at the register dn level using the command "no call-waiting" it will only allow one call to that dn. All other calls receive busy tone.
