does anybody have experiences integrating UCS authentication with OpenLDAP? which objectClass should my groups have?

i have configured overlay to enable memberOf attribute for users, but cannot authorize my users using LDAP group mappings. i'm using objectClass "groupOfUniqueNames" for groups and "uniqueMember" attribute as a "source" for memberOf overlay. groupOfUniqueNames is required for VMware vSphere SSO, so i'm using the same type for all groups. does UCS even support groupOfUniqueNames?

any hints would be appreciated :-)
