DHCP Snooping

Dear all,

why not support in Cisco IOS version 12.4 command of ( ip dhcp snooping ) in router 2800 series
And other command also not support (ip verify source) in switch 3560 model.?

are any one can explain.

Hi,

Dhcp snooping is for switches where client devices connect. Users are not directly connected to router and hence, ip dhcp snooping command is not required on routers like the 2800

Ip verify source is supported on 3560 switches. If it is not available on your switch, then you have a very old IOS version.
