seems IOS is 99% Similar to XE , so what is the difference other than Monothilic and linux kernel

Hello,
IOS-XE supports multi-core CPUs.
Another advantage of having a underlying Linux OS is that you easily can run applications like WireShark or WLAN controllers on it.

BTW, since IOS predates XE, one might say XE is 99% similar to IOS, not the converse. ;)
