CIsco MDS 9396s port group question

can we assign all the 4 ports of a port group to a  porttchannel for iSL connectivity . Or should we assign ports from different port groiups. what are the pors and cons of selecting ports from the same port group

All the ports on the MDS 9396S are 16G wire rate ! No oversubscription. I think here there is no concept of a port group, which in most cases means oversubscription.

That's correct, you don't have the concept of shared or dedicated ports. You can also do a 

show port-resources to see how they are configured.
