Planning to upgrade to c1841-ipbasek9-mz.124-22.YB2.bin.

Is crypto is supported in this version?

1. The so-called "upgrade" is actually a downgrade. Look at the feature set. Currently, it's Advanced IP Services and the "upgrade" goes down to IP Base.

2. Read the Release Notes and the DRAM & Flash requirement.

3. The planned IOS version is seriously old. So many bugs & security vulnerabilities have already been discovered. 12.4(22)YB2 was released in 27 May 2009. Wow. I wouldn't touch that at all.

Is crypto is supported in this version?

Oh yes, crypto is supported because the IOS file has the prefix of "k9".
