i have enter the serial number and the portal "show warranty covered, type unavailable" but the contract status "show not covered".

So am i still able to get a RMA replacement for the switch ?

2960X model is covered under "Cisco Enhanced Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty".

This means you must be able to prove to the Cisco Entitlements Team that you are the end user of this appliance and was purchased from a Cisco-authorized agent.  Be prepared to furnish the purchase order, delivery receipt and official receipt.  

Be aware that Cisco Entitlements Team takes pleasure in making it difficult for anyone who tries to claim warranty using "Cisco Enhanced Limited Lifetime Hardware Warranty".
