300 series switches, Module help?

Hello,

I priced up a job, on the bases that the fibre already run was multimode as this is what the customer had told us. This is for a CCTV system install with POE switches. So we went for the SF300-24MP-K9-UK in 11 hub rooms that link back to the server room with a 1GB link to SG300-28SFP-K9-UK which attach to the CCTV system. We were going to use the MGBSX1 modules as the longest run is about 250M. Anyway got there and the fibre is all single mode, the module that has the shortest distance for these switches is the MGBLX1 which is rated at 10km, does anyone know if there is any chance that this will work over distances of around 75m

I think at 75m you'll be ok. At 5m you'll definitely need fibre antenuators to cause loss in signal power to prevent the lasers destroying each other.
