IGMP Querier PIM syslog messages

Hello friends,

I have 3 distribution switches - here is the output from one of them that has been showing up in the logs since the software upgrade and reload of the switch. 

My question is why all of a sudden I'm getting these IGMP querier messages on my Distribution switch 1, but not on distribution switch 2 and 3?

*May 29 17:22:50 pdt: %IGMP_QUERIER-4-PIM_ENABLED: The IGMP querier is operationally disabled in VLAN 6 because PIM has been enabled on the SVI.
*May 29 17:22:57 pdt: %IGMP_QUERIER-4-PIM_ENABLED: The IGMP querier is operationally disabled in VLAN 7 because PIM has been enabled on the SVI.

Hi,

Is IGMP supposed to be enabled on all these vlans? If yes, you may want to reconfigure your IGMP and PIM again and see if the problem disappears. You also may want to look at the release note for caveats and bug fixes for the version you are running.

How can I check to see if IGMP is enabled on these vlans? or all other vlans around my other distrbution switch svi's?

"sh ip igmp snooping" will show you what vlans have IGMP enabled.
