VPN Phones

We currently support an on-premises Cisco UC configuration, version 8.6.x (I know it's expiring), and we have several users who use our VPN gateway that traverses through our Cisco ASA 5520 cluster in the data center.

So my question is, is there a limit on how many phones can traverse that gateway and register with Call Manager?

Sorry I am new to VoIP and I appreciate any assistance.

The limit will be related to the max VPN connections for your ASA (750 for the 5520) as well as the number of AnyConnect licenses you have available. See the following links.
