Solved: Inventory collection delta

Hello,

When I'm running the inventory collection delta report I can see that some of the devices were deleted. What exactly is compared during generating the report? Is it s#, hostname or IP address or maybe all of the information?

What if the IP address of the device will change? Delta report will reflect it as a deleted?

Hi pkomorow,

The devices are compared based on the serial number, so if the IP address is different, it will show up under the "Changed" column in the reports.
