SX20 Ceiling Mic Placement and Spekers

Hello everyone,

is there a link that discusses correct placement of the ceiling mics for an SX20? I have situation with a round table that the closest end will be about 3 feet from the screen at its closest end and maybe 8 feet away at its farthest. i doubt anyone will be sitting at the closest end during calls though.

Also a bit confused on speakers. The screen this came with does not have speakers. I thought that a conference phone would be used for the audio but since a Ceiling mic showed up I am lost.

Hi Scott,

There is some information in the ceiling microphone installation guide about placement (page4):

When it comes to audio, you can use the speakers on the TV (using the audio output from HDMI) or connect to other external speakers using the line out on the SX20 (will require an amplifier).
