I am currently troubleshooting a scenario for a customer who has 2 vpn routers in their setup as shown in the document below. The lan port of both routers both connect to a single switch. The Cisco RV042 is being used as a PPTP server for remote clients to gain access to the site and some of the additional VPN resources at that site. I am having a hard time finding detailed resources regarding this type of setup. The only thing I have found that seems relevant is documentation stating that the PPTP addresses should be outside the defined DHCP scope for the LAN. Can anyone provide any insight here?
