Change baud rate on EtherSwitch Service Module

Inactive.

I'm work on 3900 router and ES3 etherswitch service module. I mistakenly load wrong ios  on switch and deleted old ios.  Because I didn't have ios on I was trying upload right on using xmodem.  I saw in a blog that I should set baud rate to 57600.  After setting baud rate of 57600 whenever I connect to switch I'm entering weird or block chanters..

Things I did:

set terminal emulator to different baud rate. (9600, 57600, 115200)

set different baud rate on router (9600,57600,115200)

reset/reload service-module g X/0

telnet/ssh to router

I was told switch has to be 115200.  Is anyway to reset BAUD without going into switch?

Hello,

I say your problem, i want know if i understand your issue.

You have a router + switch module and you lost the IOS of this router, and you have problem to recovery from xmodem.

Ok, you can use TFTP server for this

See this link:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/routers/2600-series-multiservice-platforms/12714-76.html

Sorry I meant I lost the IOS on switch.  My main issues is that I mistakenly set baud rate of 57600 to switch.

I found out later that I was dealing with speed of three things, Router, tty port, and switch.  However I was only able to change tty port speed to 9600 or 115200.  Hence speed is not match up.

You would use:

clock rate

I think it will be resolution your issue

Or you can use this

!--- Lines omitted for brevity.

line aux 0
 password cisco
 login
 modem InOut
 transport input all
 speed 57600
 flowcontrol hardware

or

modem autoconfigure type usrmodem

Thank's for the help.

@Inactive. Have you found any solution? Please let us know if you found one.
