Solved: GETTING ERROR 1670 UNABLE TO LOAD MODULE WHEN UPGRADING TMS 15.1.0. TO 15.3.0

I am running TMS 15.1.0 and trying to upgrade to 15.3.0 ..

I am logged in with admin priv. getting the error 1670 unable to load module ... Error Code 5 ???

Any ideas ??

That would make sense, usually a good idea to turn of any anti-virus during an install/upgrade just in case so to avoid issues such as this, if it is the anti-virus that is causing the error.

Hi ,

did u try to run the 15.3 exe as "Run as administrator" by doing right click.

lastly, u can also verify the MD5 checksum of downloaded 15.3 file.

I am RDT in and the OS is Windows 2008 R2.

I get the same error running as Admin .. I am logged in as Admin also.

The MD5 checks are good for both 15.2 and 15.3 files.

In addition to Aman's suggestions, try making sure the server has all of it's Windows Updates, maybe something is dependent.

What OS version are you running?

Looks like might be McAfee blocking some DLL's ... working it ...

My other network isn't having the problem ... 15.2.1 working.

Had to move the install file to C:\ to get it to install. McFee rocket scientist software developers block install in a profile other than root admin. Even if personal profile has admin rights. ...
