When would you want multiple routers connected to the same switch?

Hi Josh
One concept we have , on remote sites have a backup vpn router and primary mpls router connected back into one core L3 switch with multiple blades running using IGP and 2 routers use BGP at the front connecting back to HQs , this gives us hardware redundancy and ISP redundancy which can be must if critical traffic coming from the remote site
