hello everyone,

I have a stack of 3 3850s.  Does anyone know how to review a crashfile for when a switch crashes.  I cannot determine why the switch crashed, but it did leave behind a crashfile.

It isn't due to a crash.

Post the complete output to the command "dir".

Yeah, I saw that.  dir crashinfo did produce a crashinfo file.  Will it produce the file even if there is a power outage?

I will get you the info when I get back.  I've just seen a case where it said "power failure" but the actual switch had hardware problems where we ended up replacing it.

dir crashinfo did produce a crashinfo file

It shouldn't be a file but two sets of sub-directories.  If date & time is correctly set then it will tell when the file(s) were created.

Kindly post the complete output to the command "dir".

Will it produce the file even if there is a power outage?

No.
