Multiple SSIDs with 702 (standalone)

Hi All

I am trying to configure an Aironet 702i (standalone) to broadcast 2 SSIDs on both radio interfaces.

The First SSID (Private) is secuered with AES and is assigned to the VLAN 1 (native VLAN)

The Second SSID (Public) is open access and assigned to VLAN 50

Router is a Draytek 2860

Switch is a Netgear M4100 with the Aironet on fa 0/1, tagged for both VLANS. And the router on Giga 0/1, untagged.

AP config is attached

Thank you

Try to remove mobility network-id and test again.

Sorry forgot to say: The issue is not that the SSIDs are not broadcasting, they are. But whenever a device tries to connect to either SSID it fails to authenticate.

Try to remove mobility network-id and test again.

Hi Scott

Thank you very much for the advice.

I have removed the mobility network-id and SSID Private is now working fine but devices are still failing to connect to SSID Public.

-Tom

Never mind I think i have it now. Issue was in the settings for VLAN 50 on the switch.

Thanks for pointing out the mobility network-id though, defiantly the source of my original problem.

-Tom

Glad that was an easy fix:)
