NAT on 4500. No NAT option.

Hi guys,

Need some help here. I am connecting an internet router directly to a 6510 switch with few vlan and interface vlans setup.

However I am not able to configure NAT on the switch for the inside and outside interfaces( "ip nat inside/outside")

The switch does not have the option for NAT at all. What is the issue? License?

Hi

switches don't do NAT that's it unfortunately you need a router to perform NAT functions , catalyst don't support it all never have , some 6500s do it but 45s don't

Thanks Mark for confirming this.
