ESA MGA take CPU high

Hi all,

I found ESA MGA CPU high, which reson will cause it generally? BTW, which reason will cause queue email appear?

Hello,

It looks like you answered the first part of your question with the second part of your question. :)

The reason MGA is running high (keeping in mind intermittent spikes are normal) is probably because the ESA is showing 3,838 messages in the workqueue along with a few hundred active recipients.

As the workqueue and delivery queue builds up more and more, you'll start to see performance impacts on the device, with one of them being high CPU utilization.

The reasoning behind this varies greatly, so there's no way to tell from the screenshot you provided.

I would recommend opening up a support ticket if you needed further information on the workqueue buildup as Cisco TAC would need to go through the logs.
