hi,

I have a 5760 with 3.6.4, when i upload the wlc config on the wlc analyzer i got the msg:

Controller wlc_name information is incomplete. Sh tech and sh tech wireless are required

This is a bug?.

i have uploaded also the sh tech and sh tech wireless on different files or in the same.. but the msg still appears after the upload.. this is normal..

Do i need to upload only one file for config, sh tech and sh tech wireless...?.

regards,

Juan Pablo

Hola Juan Pablo

for IOS-XE, you should load in a single file the output for sh tech and sh tech wireless

if that is not working, please send me the file zipped, and I will test it here

For 16.x, it is just sh tech wireless

regards

Hi there

I have the same problem trying to analyze the config from a 5760 running on 03.06.03E. I am using WLCCA version 4.3(7) and I have tried uploading every possible combination of the 'show running-config', 'show tech' and 'show tech-wireless' files.

Thanks for any help on this.

Regards,

Christian

All of a sudden it works...

Thats how I did it just in case someone else is having the same issue sometime.

- create a txt file

- first add the output of WLC#show tech on top

- then add the output of WLC#show tech wireless beneath

- save the txt file

- open the file with WLCCA
