Script Changes on Contact Center Subscriber

We are about to perform our annual DR test and part of that will include making the Contact Center Publisher completely unavailable and all services will be running via the Subscriber. The day that we are doing the test is a day that is normally a closed day. We need to be able to open up the call queues at an undetermined time and for an undetermined period.

When the system is running on the Sub, can scripts be modified and then uploaded to the system and then updated on the Application so it is using the modified settings?

If not, is there a way to get around it or not? Seem that these systems are not designed to allow having a true back up with ability to make changes on the fly if needed.

Any help is appreciated

This will not be possible while publisher is offline. Configuration Datastore that allows configuration to happen on CCX Administration need both the servers up, there is no way around it either.
