We have phantom users appearing when a couple of users make calls. This only appears within the Jabber client and not on the physical phone.
each user has no other users related to their UC profile. An example of this would be:
John Smith - 1000 makes a call to Jane Doe - 1001, on Jane's phone the line text would read John Smith - 1234, yet on the jabber Client it would display another name, Gary Pusey, for example. The name appearing on the Jabber client tends to be an ex-employee.
This issue seems to be only affecting one pool of users.
As Jabber pulls information from the AD, we have made sure that the user appearing on the received Jabber call is deleted.
We have also made sure that both sending and receiving users have removed the ex-employee from their saved contacts if they had previously used the DN that the new user has.
Anyone seen this issue before, more so, can anyone help?
Cheers,
