Solved: Configuring LDAP on Cisco Unified Presence version

Good morning,

Please if you can help me to know if I can integrate to Active directory only IM & Presence server to use user directory in Jabber without needing to integrate the Call Manager, or is it necessary to have both platforms integrated?

We are currently using "Cisco-UDS" for user directory topics.

CUCM version 10.5.2.13900-2

IM&Presence version: 10.5.2.23900-4

The Jabber documentation dedicates a whole chapter to directory integration that explains how to configure EDI/BDI and UDS, have you reviewed that document??

You can have complete separate config for user creation/sync on CUCM and Jabber directory.
