Will the 7914 sidecar work on a 7965 phone? CUCM Version 10.5.1. I programmed it but when you press a button the sidecar goes blank

Make sure it has proper phone button template for sidecar.

Yes, the 7914, 15 and 16 will work with a 7965.
You can tell which modules are supported on multi-button sets by clicking the dropdown list in the Expansion Module Information section of the base phone configuration page.
