RJ11 compatible with 7942?

When a RJ11 headset was plugged into the headset port, it doesn't work. The headset can work when plugged into the handset port. What are the recommended RJ or headsets for 7942?

Hi Zann,

The headset port on the back of the 7942 is RJ11, I have encountered this problem before due to different headset cables not being cross compatible with different phone vendors. Check compatibility with your headset vendor.

If you have a plantronics headset you need the curly cord with the opaque (grey) glass end. Alternatley you can purchase a headset amplifier.
