ASA 5516X with fire power on box management

Hi,

We have 5516-X ASA box with source fire module, able to access ASDM (ASA GUI) but unable to find the on-box-management feature such as FMC option in ASA configuration tab.

As you mention and as confirmed by the details you posted, your module is currently managed by FMC. 

You cannot have off-box (FMC) and on-box (ASDM) management at the same time. 

To remove the FMC you would have to log into the module cli and enter

configure manager delete

Most customers are better served by FMC as it has superior capabilities.

Have you completed the initial cli-based setup of the module? That is mandatory. Please see the Quick Start guide for more details on how to perform the initial setup:

show module sfr detail
