BGP Soft Reset issue with CSR 1000v

Hi Expert,

Today i was doing very small BGP lab where have only 2 router and had IBGP peering between 2 nodes.i playing with distance command in my lab,

but when i changed AD of iBGP routes and run command "clear ip bgp * soft" bgp policy not get updated.

I tried with many CSR 1000v versions all have same issue BGP soft reset not working only hard reset work.i wanna know why it's not working.does CSR 1000v not support this or there is any issue.

if anyone else notice and find way to make it work pls do let me.

Did you enabled the soft re-configuration inbound option on the BGP peer as well?

router bgp xxx
  neighbor a.b.c.d soft-reconfiguration inbound

That is not the issue,for your information AD is not related to any bgp attribute so when you change AD and do soft reset.that would not impact coz it will not change any bgp attribute.
