Can someone help me understand what is the menaing of 'LAN Extension technology' ?

does that mean ..

AToM...

pseudowire...

OTV ?

Any one liner difference to help me understand ?

Thanks Manish.  Can you give a real life use case that can be achieved using OTV ( from a customer PoV who has 2 DC as separate locations hosting many servers)

That will help me to understand before I go inside technology specs of OTV :)
