We an issue where it appears as though employees may be leaving the phone off-hook after paging and my be doing so on purpose to tie up the system. The paging system uses an FXO port off of a Cisco Voice Gateway router.
When this happens I need to get on the router and shut the port and bring it back up to resolve the issue.
Does anyone know of a way that I can just terminate any connect that has been established for 60 seconds automatically? I need a solution that is not manual.

This might be helpful,
Try to use different disconnect methods for FXO so that line is cleared when user drops the call.

The issue is that they are not always hanging the phone up once they complete the page. IE they dial 50 to initiate a page and then they leave the phone off-hook. Could be a disgruntled employee whom is looking to tie up the system, but not certain.
