Enable gigabit ethernet interfaces on WS-X45-Sup8L-e module

I have 10 new 4506E chassis with WS-X45-SUP8L-E sup module that I need to configure. I do not have 10GB to my Distribution yet. What command do I use to enable the sup's interface to recognize GB instead of 10gb? The sup6 or sup7 command "hw-module uplink gigabitethernet" does not work on the Sup8. My Fw/OS is: 15.1(1r)SG6 / 03.08.03.E

The ports on sup-8 are 1/10. Once you insert a 1Gig SFPs into the port, it should recognized it without needing to use any command.
