mx800/sx80 POWER CYCLES ON ITS OWN

The MX800 and SX80 - Running TC7.3.7.

System is new about 2 months old.

During a VTC system will without notice restart ???  This has happened three times in the last couple days ??

Verified no abnormal power hits occurred.   Reseated power cable.

Any other ideas ???

--------------------------------------------------------

Looked over the event log in the MX800 and noticed a warning entry:

Warning: Encoder overproduction (ttvenc)h264_cdn): Configured rate 704000, actual rate 924559

Would that cause the power cycle ???

The link to the bug in my previous reply is fixed.

I had to look at my old case, and they said it was fixed it TC7.3.3, haven't had that issue since.

I had a similar issue a few years ago when running TC7.3.2, same issue as you describe where the codec would restart unexpectedly for an unknown reason while in a call, issue was related to bug id CSCun36225.

Do you know if they fixed that specific bug???  I can't find it in the bug tool kit ???

Maybe the fixed it in TC7.3.3 but it might be back ...??   I have a TAC on it at this time.

Hi Chet,

Did you get an explanation for the encoder overproduction?  Was it related?

Thanks!
