I have an ASA 5515-X that is running FTD not regular ASA code. I need to recover the admin password but normal ASA password recovery doesn't seem to work. I could only find password recovery steps for a FTD 4100 but that doesn't work either. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I reckon that you will need to reinstall the FTD software.
Boot the firewall to ROMMON and transfer FTD again. :)
