Add Firepower to Cisco 5512 Firewall

Hello,

I want to add firewpower services to a 5512 that we have currently. The serial number of the device is FTX19261062. I want to see what is needed to add the firepower services to this device. I believe you need an SSD and then the license for it and I wanted to see if you can tell me if the firewall has that SSD, and what license we need to add. If we do need an SSD, what is the part number for it?

If you could help me by letting me know what I need to get to have the firepower service on the 5512 I would appreciate it.

Hi skarengin

The part number for the SSD is "ASA5500X-SSD120=".

I figure that you want to run ASA with Firepower Services.

For this you will need at least a "TA" license.
