Presence - Jabber Mobile (MRA) vs Jabber Desktop

We are just implementing Jabber and are happy with it so far but we're customizing / optimizing as we go along. Does anyone know if Presence can differentiate between a Jabber client in MRA vs Desktop mode? The thinking being, we would like to see a user's status in Jabber change to reflect the fact that they're in MRA vs Desktop. This provides some additional information when working with a colleague. At times we have certain needs for employees to access / provide materials that are only available on the network vs off. Knowing their current Jabber status would help.

Anyone have this working this way, or an idea on how to make it work this way? We're an 11.5 shop and Jabber 11.8 clients.

Thanks in advance.

There is nothing that will indicate if the user is over MRA or on-prem in the client, as Muaaz has pointed out, non-mobile options have the option to use the location feature. But on mobile, assuming you have enabled the option to show they're on mobile, that's all you would get, but you would get the same icon whether they're on-prem or MRA.

We use BOTH and we know if they are MRA by the icon referencing when on Mobile.  This is available by selecting the status below the name and sliding the option to Show icon when On Mobile.

Hi Steven,

I didn't really got an option for differentiate Jabber client MRA vs Internal specially when you're using Jabber for Mobile client.

However, for Jabber for Desktop you can use location feature in Jabber but this is configured by user as the user can type whatever in the location. When the user login through MRA Jabber will detected new MAC subnet then ask the user to add new location.
