CUCM 10.5.2 - Hunt group and locution

Hello everybody,

We have configured a Hunt group on CUCM (10.5.2) and uploaded a locution to use it as a greeting when the hunt group is called but now, the locution is run when all the members in the hunt group are busy. Is there any way to configure the locution as a greeting? It's the first that the caller has to listen before the call is routed to the hunt group members.

Have you set the Initial Announcement to the required wav file. Also, in the Announcement Settings for Held and Hunt Pilot Calls under MOH Audio Source configuration, set the drop down to Play Announcement before routing to Hunt Member. Refer below:

Hello Deepak,

Thanks for replying. Both parameters are configured as you have indicated but the announcement is not played. We have checked that the default locution are listened with this configuration. Is it necessary to follow a specific process when uploading a wav file? to do something via CLI?
