UCS Central Config Fail

Hello,

I created a Service Profile in UCS Central and tried to associated it with a server but I get an error that says:

-There are not enough resources overall.

- Resource ownership conflict.

Does some one has an idea of what it could be?

Regards,

Debbie

Which version of UCS Central?

You likely have resources that are defined globally but not available locally or vis-versa. Make sure you have addresses in all of your global pools, including mac, wwpn, UUID, etc.

Can you post some screen captures of the errors?

Hi Wesley,

All resources I have created in UCS Central. UCS Domain does not have any resources configuration. I attach the screenshot.

Debbie

Which version of UCS Central?

You can press "error details" and it should tell you why it is throwing the error.

Are you using server pools? If so, ensure this server is available in that pool.

UCS Central Version 2.0.1a

I pressed on "error detail" and I found that the conflict was with some policies in the UCS Domain with name global.

So I started to delete all policies on UCS Domain that had the name with global and finally I can associated the SP to the server.

Thanks.

Could you please provide the detailed steps how you fixed this issue.
