Error SocialMiner Facebook Fan page Feed

Hello,

When I add Facebook fan page feed to Social miner, it displays: Facebook authorization Failed. Try editing the feed to reauthorize and save. Last successful fetch NEVER.

I did that it suggested to do, but I didn't fix my problem. I restart my socialMiner and nothing happens. I delete de feed and readd, but obtained the same result. This is de URL I used: https://www.facebook.com/CompanyName

I was able to add Twitter account Feed, but I can't add Facebook.

I hope you are following the instructions as mentioned in the below guide to add the FB Fan page feed. Also please ensure that your Proxy is configured fine on the SM server side and is working correctly

Hello Deepak,

I have correctly configured SocialMiner feed for Facebook. When I select Reauthorize and save, it sends me to another page and then it goes back and says:

Authorization Succeeded. The feed is saved.

As I wrote before. I was able to add Twitter Stream and account. I don't know why I can't add Facebook. Do you have any information about this file: ciscosm-facebook_fix-11.0.1.10000-36.cop.sgn

Ok so here is the thing Facebook has updated their Graph API version to 2.6 last year but SocialMiner 10.x and 11.0(1) were already shipped with API Version 2.0 till that time as these versions were FCS before that announcement came, hence the error. The cop file that you are referring is not available on CCO and only TAC can assist in providing it, below defect had also been filed for this:

Hence contact TAC who will provide you the COP file and once applied to SM server, the API version will be updated to 2.6 and issue should be fixed then. There was a below notification out from FB as well for this:

Thank you Deepak. With this cop file I now I am able to add Facebook feed to SocialMiner.

I have this issue: Since yesterday I can't see any Facebook update. I delete the feed and resync, and I restart the SocialMiner, but now I can't see any facebook update.

Any suggestion?
