Setting up VoIP for 10 users

Dear friends,

We have Cisco 2911 router with IOS c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.154-3.M3.bin. It has 2 GB of RAM and IP Base and Sec/k9 licenses installed.

I recently enabled the evaluation uck9 license and do not know what to do next as cme-srst is also there and lot of stuff to confuse.

In order to setup VoIP network for 10 IP Phones (model yet to choose) with call conferencing feature, what Licenses do I need to purchase and get going?

Plz Help :)

Note: It would be appreciated if Phone model also suggested to me! with call conference feature and price wise lowest one.

Hi Pawan,

No separate licences required for conferencing.

Phone model would depend on what CME version you choose see below list for CME version supported as per memory requirements. It will also tell you phone model supported.

Hi Pawan,

You only need to purchase phones and their licenses.These phone licenses depend upon the phone model you choose.

For eg CP-7942G is a enhanced phone , so you need a Enhanced phone license.

You may choose from Cisco 7800 or 7900 series phone.

Selection of a phone model depends on your needs, like phone display (Gray scale or Color), line buttons etc.
