Hello All,
Can anyone tell me how to stop authentication attempt from Cisco Prime to network devices.
ACS logs showing prime id is continuously attempting ssh. Can we reduce time for authentication which is required for taking a backup of network devices.
Thanks

....>attempt
- Are the authentication credentials for the particular device correct in Prime ?

Prime is using CLI and SNMP to obtain info from the devices, and cisco has chosen not to document what PI collects and how.
The default collection interval of the config that PI does via CLI is 24 hrs. Default at 22:00 in the evening.
However if the device indicates via SYSLOG that a config change has occurred, PI will wait for 10 minutes and then try to download the config.
Maybe your 'continuous' is every 10 minutes?
Remove the SYSLOG sending to PI, and see if this changes the behavior.
The ACS logs should tell you what PI tries to do apart from login in.
