Jeff, we have a customer request to turn off the "please hold while I transfer you" prompt. Could we simply delete it or possibly rerecord a moment of silence?? I understand we don't have a prompt editor to date.<br><br>

For the record, we don't support customers going in and monkeying with the prompts... if you just delete the prompt in question or rename it you'll get up close and personal with your good buddy Mr. FailSafe conversation (i.e. "I'm sorry, I can't talk to you now, please try your call again later"). The phrase servers get pretty fussy when the prompts they want to construct a phrase with are missing.

If they're really making a fuss about it, go ahead and replace the prompt in question with a silence prompt (we have several already on the system).

In your case you want to replace:

AvPhGreetENU004.WAV (the "please hold on..." prompt)

with a copy of:

AvAddrSearchENU003.WAV (a silent prompt).

Just be careful... you can always go fish the original prompt set off CD #1 if you foul things up.
