IP Phone Bar Codes

Does anyone know which bar code standard is used for Cisco's IP Phones (printed on the box, and the phone itself).

The bar code standard is called 3of9. The Opticon USB scanner works great. Product info is at http://www.opticonusa.com/handheld.htm. List price is $525. Search the net for much better deals.

We use a PCMCIA card that has a barcode scanner wand attached right to it. The product is made by Socket and the model is C-I/O part number is

SL0733-129. This is for a laptop running Windows 9x/NT/2k. Works like a champ! Here is the URL

You can also get dirt cheap keyboard plugin based (called PS2 keyboard wedges) from Symbol. If you hunt around you can find them for around $225 or so. Look for the "Spark Scanner".

WASP also makes several Bar Code scanners that work. They have a CCD ~$175 and Laser ~$250 that plug into the PS/2 port on a laptop or desktop.
