We have a requirement to intergrate 3 ICS 7750 servers running CM 3.0.7 with one Unity server (Build 2.4.6.102). Has anyone accomplished anything like this? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

That's not supported. The TSP versions that are currently supported with Unity 2.4.6.102 can only connect to one CallManager. Well, it can fail over to a back-up CallManager, but you can't talk to multiple CallManagers at the same time.

Unity 3.0 and its supported TSP will be able to support connecting to Mutiple CallManager servers at the same time.

I was hoping to configure one CM to interface with Unity and have the other two CMs forward their calls to VoiceMail through the first CM. The question is: would the other two CMs forward the "Forward no answer" calls to the the first CM with the Forwarding extension number (RDNIS)? If that is the case I could use that information to create "Call Routing rules" in Unity to route calls appropriately.

Thanks in advance

Our testing has shown that fowarding information across inter-cluster trunks with CCM 3.0X is not preserved. Let's say caller1.cluster1 calls caller2.cluster1 and caller2.cluster1 forwards to unity.cluster2. In that case, the forwarding information for caller2.cluster1 is not preserved. The information for caller1.cluster1 is, so the call actually looks like a direct call from caller1.cluster1.

Additionally, MWIs to phones in remote clusters (perspective to Unity) won't be functional. MWI requests will not traverse the inter-cluster trunk.
