There is no documentation on the AvRulerEditor tool because its an application designed for a technician to troubleshoot with, not for folks to be using on a regular basis. Any rule you need to create should be done through the SA, not this tool... it's very twitchy and you can easily screw up your rules to the point where you'll need to rebuild them from scratch using the ConfigMgr tool.

Any particular reason you're wanting to use RulerEditor?

I am an Instructor for Skyline Computer Corporation. We are getting ready to teach this course. I attended the class with Rebecca out in Seattle and she showed us this tool, and was wondering if there was any documentation to pass along to the student as well as help me understand the tool a little better.

There's no docs... let me be real clear... unless you have a VERY specific reason for needing to use it, please steer clear of this tool and don't teach your students to use it. There's no need to use it unless there's a problem with the .RUL file in which case TAC should get involved. It's a dangerous tool that should be used by engineering folks investingating problems, not folks in the field.

Routing rules should only be edited/added via the SA.
