DPD problem with VPN client 3.1 and pix 6.0

Hi all,

I have a problem, one of my user is using DSL connection(no special software) from German Telecom with VPN 3.1 client to connect to pix running 6.0. But he lost connection every 15 min. After examining logs I found that the pix stops respond to DPD requests send by client and client release conn after configurable timeout. I have found no option not to use DPD... I'm also using backup server (not active yet) in profile file. Any suggestion ? Thankx Daniel

Are you seeing the DPD requests and DPD ack’s in the Client Debugs? You might need to capture these and call Cisco. Also, try 6.1(1). I see there are a number of DPD bugs on 6.0.
