hi,

i have 3661 with E&M connecting the PBX,

if my PBX Supports 120 phones, it means the 3661

can handle 120 calls concurrently?

if i used 3661 with 6 NM-2V (12 VIC-2FXS),it can

handle 24 calls concurrently?

if i used AS5300 WITH 4E1(can support 120 calls ),connect to the PBX,if the PBX supports 200 calls, does it mean the AS5300 support 200 calls concurrently?

thank you

The gateway can support the number of possible voice channels, not necessarily the number of phones on the PBX. With 6 NM-2V, you can support 24 calls (since that is 4 calls/ports per NM-2V). The NM-2V will support E&M or FXS or FXO. With Digital ports on the 3661, you can support many more calls simultaneous since each T1/E1 will support 24/30 calls.

With the AS5300 you have 4 E1. This means 4X30 = 120 calls. If PBX supports 200 calls, you still are limited by the number of voice channels you can connect to the AS5300 which is 120.

what's the Digital ports on the 3661, for example:

with 3661 i have NM-HDV-1E1-60=, the diagram i supposed is below:

(60)ip phone ----switch----3661(NM-HDV-1E1-60=)---WAN

or

60 phone---PBX---3661(NM-HDV-1E1-60=)----WAN,

which one is correct?

if the last one is correct, which cable for 3661 connecting PBX,

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
