Anyone know of a way to configure PA to support 11kHz mono encoding playback? Have a situation where voice mail browsing through PA (v 1.2(2))doesn't work because customer's Unity 3.0 box is configured for 11kHz format.

Often times complex troubleshooting issues are best addressed in an interactive trouble-shooting session with one of our trained technical assistance engineers. While other forum users may be able to help, its often difficult to do so for this type of issue.

You can change the recording format Unity uses to store WAV files with the SetRecordFormat.exe utility in the Utilities folder. You can modify the default frequency settings for u-law, or switch formats to use whatever codecs are installed on the server. However, if you use ViewMail, the client PCs would need to have the appropriate codec installed in order to play back the messages.
