We have been running 121-3a.XI5.bin with much success on 2600s/NM-HDVs. However we need to look at upgrading this 1+ year old code to fix 'Yellow Alarms (RAI) resets the controller' (CSCds70637).

TAC suggested 12.1.5-XM4. However this bugfix (CSCds70637) forces us to 12.2, which TAC suggested 12.2(4)T1.

Previous TAC suggested upgrades (12.2(2)T) have left us pushing for Critical Account Status, and upset our phone users. Has anyone had success with 12.2(4)T1 in 2600/NMHDVs ?

You should be able to use 12.2(5a) but I am not certain you won't have any other problems, since I don't know everything you are doing with the 2600.

From my dicussion with TAC, others should consult TAC as to their specific situation (disclaimer);

"The consensus (5 replies) seems to be that 12.2(5a) is the code to be running right now. Most folks suggested NOT using 12.2(4)T unless you needed the T-train features. You would have to review the release notes to determine if you desperately needed something in the T-train. I agree that a mainline image 12.2(5a) is more stable. The T train offers more features. With that you sometimes get more problems. Otherwise, I would probably stay off the T-train :-)"
