803 ISDN Router - POTS problem

When I make a telephone call on the 803 ISDN router, I can hear my voice in the headset, like an echo. The volume of other persons voice is very very loud as well. Any ideas on how to reduce this echo, or the volume of the pots port? IOS v 12.1(3)XG, country setting GB.

I would try different configurations of the headset adapter. This worked for my telecommuters. Plantronics makes quality adapters.
